The Nauru Soccer Federation is delighted to announce that we have completed a partnership deal with international tour company ‘Young Pioneer Tours’.
Who are Young Pioneer Tours?
They’re one of the world’s leading adventure travel companies giving their customers a unique experience and the chance to set foot in places others wouldn’t dare to.
The company does a yearly tour to the island of Nauru and even hosts an infamous pub crawl around the island. It was on a YPT tour that the dream of the Nauru Soccer Federation was first discussed and realized.
This is not YPT first involvement with football , they’re also working in partnership with Cambodian pro team Angkor City FC.
What can YPT bring to the project?
Technical Director, Charlie Pomroy, was delighted to get the deal across the line and was keen to highlight the importance of the deal;
“It is obviously a deal that was always going to happen given the people involved but don’t underestimate how important it is for the project. YPT command a lot of respect in the island, they can open doors to partnerships with locals and they’ll ensure that we get a big cult style following across the globe as well. I’ve worked with YPT for a while now and never have I had any reason to doubt their ability to produce results and their loyalty to any project they get involved with”.
The next steps for the project….
With this deal agreed the NSF have made it clear there are more to get over the line in the coming weeks. The project kicks off in July with a training camp on the island before playing it’s first ever international friendly later in the year. Former premier league footballer Dave Kitson is taking charge of this match which will gain global media attention when it happens.
It’s an exciting time for the project as it begins to take shape and YPT coming onto the team will only strengthen our resolve and ensure we deliver what we promise.
